Cameron Lea a 22 years old honours student from Westville, Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, visited the Alan Paton Centre on 28 March 2019. He is studying history at Howard College in Durban. He is currently in his fourth year, after completing his Bachelor of Social Science degree last year. Cameron’s history research project for his Honours is on the focus of South African Border War from 1966 to 1989, and the young men who were conscripted to join the army, as well as the efforts of the End Conscription Campaign.
