The Alan Paton Centre hosted Philisiwe Khuzwayo from KZN Provincial Museum on 12 May 2025. She is the researcher at the Museum and came to the centre to research about the SARMCOL strike and this is for the upcoming exhibition held at one of their feeder museums. She found the archival materials useful for her research and couldn’t complain. She is the former student at UKZN and that’s how she got to know about the centre. She is familiar with APC website and it helped in finding the resources that she picked for her research. She found the reading room okay though a little chilly but understands that the temperature is ideal for the archival materials housed.
